Miami is considered a world city because of its key role in international trade, finance, commerce, and several other industries.

Miami is the second biggest city in the state of Florida and serves as the seat for Miami-Dade County. It was established in 1870 and soon gained worldwide popularity as a vacation spot. With regards to music, the diversity of culture in Miami is very much evident in its music, with influences coming from Cubans, Colombians, West Indians, Dominicans, and Caribbean people.
