Merrillville

Merrillville is a town in the state of Indiana that is part of the Lake County and Ross Township. It is only seven miles from Gary, Indiana, and 30 miles from Chicago, Illinois. According to the 2000 census, there are only slightly more than 30,000 residents in this municipality, which has a population density of 918 per square mile.
