McLean

The town of McLean is an unincorporated municipality and is a census-designated place (CDP) that is part of Fairfax County in the state of Virginia. Students considering the possibility of enrolling in one of the McLean colleges and universities may be interested to know that it is only nine miles away from Washington, D.C. and five miles away from Bethesda, Maryland. Despite being a relatively small community, it has several fashionable and expensive homes and shopping centers.

Several members of Congress, diplomats, and top officials in the federal government and businesses live in this CDP because of its proximity to the capital. The headquarters of the Central Intelligence Agency is even found in McLean.
