A molecular biologist conducts research studies on DNA and genetics while a meteorologist is the person to be consulted regarding the weather and climate changes. An astrophysicist plays an important role in the design of space vehicles and in space exploration. An astronomer conducts investigations regarding the various heavenly bodies.

Another kind of career that is a product of science education degree courses is that of a biologist, who is responsible for studies regarding life on Earth. Meanwhile, the computer scientist and information scientist play important roles in today’s society that is very much dependent on computers and networks. The nutritionist investigates the effects of food ingredients on the body and provides advice on the proper foods to eat. Thus, the nutritionist may sometimes be employed by large food companies to ensure that the nutritional values of their products are emphasized in the labels and in the commercials. Meanwhile, engineers play an important role in the design of machinery and other technical tools for various industries.
