Forensic psychology is becoming a very popular career in the psychology world. A forensic psychologist is responsible for aiding law enforcement officials in the apprehension of criminals. Forensic psychologists will aid in building criminal profiles, interpretation of evidence, and many other crime related needs.
Health psychology focuses on the biological side of the mind. A health psychologist will work with other medical professionals to aid in preventing and curing medical illnesses of the mind. Health psychology is a fairly new field with new opportunities rising every day.
Sport psychology is an up and coming field as it works with athletes to help them to understand the connection between the mind and body. A sport psychologist will work with athletes to help them better understand their physical limits and how to push those limits even farther.
